Topic: A Great Band To Check Out! Return to archive

Honky Tonk Man Last night i went to see a band called The Libertines at the London Forum. It was an awsome show, but they couldn't of being on the stage for more than 45 minutes! They only have one album (12 songs) but the setlist i think was 9 songs. They were a member down, due to deaths in the family and they didn't talk at all. It was just, one song, bang, next song, bang and so on. Maybe if they had talked between songs, the show would of lasted longer.

In a way, i think it works in a differently for the Stones.Maybe if Mick talked less, we might be getting more than 19 or 20 songs per show!

Anyway, i don't know if anyone has heard of this band in the States yet, but they did play at a US music festival recently. I think Queens Of The Stone Age and Blur were there too
