Ten Thousand Motels A "BEATLES REUNION" ON LARRY KING LIVE

In what amounts to the first Beatles reunion -- of sorts --Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono Lennon, and Olivia Harrison will be interviewed together on Larry King Live next Tuesday. Joining them will be Cirque du Soleil founder and CEO Guy Laliberté, whose Love show at The Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, featuring digitally remixed recordings of the Beatles' music, is celebrating its one-year anniversary. Reporting on the telecast, Orlando Sentinel TV columnist Hal Boedeker commented, "McCartney and Ono together? That's a must-see, isn't it?"

glencar "of sorts"!
21st June 2007 01:01 PM
Nellcote What a trollop filled hour.
I hope Stumpy shows up, sweet
talks Larry to put her on. Larry
needed Digitalis when she popped
her leg for him, I'd think he thinks
he's still got that animal attraction,
and could be swayed....
One could only hope Ono is not encouraged
to sing a few bars.....
I can hear it now....Joey in Omaha, what's
your question for Macca....

nankerphelge Unless they plan on playing Russian roulette, they have nothing that I wish to hear or see.

How is Larry planning on packing Paul and Yoko's egos into the same studio??

Nellcote I could tolerate Macca for a while, however,
once he did not protect the copyright on the
songs, it was over. When he appeared on stage
@ Live 8 last year, WITHOUT Ringo, with that
Sgt. Peppers Opening, that spoke volumes.

We should come up with some questions for this
band of misfits, and call Larry....

"Nellcote from Utah, you have a question for Sir Paul...
Paulie, would you take the leg off before laying the keel with Stumpy?"

glencar Ringo is who I wanna see. His voice is shot but he probably has the best observations of the early days. And he'll be less diplomatic reference Screechy than Macca.
26th June 2007 09:27 PM
Nellcote Larry needs to be euthanised, as he just called Ringo George!
26th June 2007 09:47 PM
Ten Thousand Motels Damn...I forgot all about it ...until now...just turned on the TV.

Oh. OK. Thanks.
I did catch the last 5 or 10 minutes or so.
I imagine Larry's questions were about as insightful as nothing though. But I might be up then....

Lethargy Yawn...yawn...yawn...Honestly, why does anyone care?
26th June 2007 10:31 PM
Shawn20 Honestly, Larry is interviewing two icons of the 20th century and he butchers it as bad as he did. My God....how did he come about his fame? He is so incompetent.

I wonder what he'll ask Paris.
How was the food in there?
How was the bunk?
Was it nice in jail?
etc etc

Drove from Paris to the Amsterdam Hilton,
Talking in our beds for a week.
The newspapers said, "Say what you doing in bed?"
I said, "We're only trying to get us some peace".

LadyJane Olivia Harrison--pure class.
Yoko---very charming and harmonious.
Ringo---the BEST of the four. Impressed me actually.
Paul--A total idiot. Making stupid jokes and horse playing with Ringo instead of answering questions. That ego is getting BIGGER. He DOES resemble Angela Lansbury.

Did anyone see the VERY end when they went into the Theatre for the Soleil show?? Larry "I'm drooling in the prescence of this greatness" King grabs his little son and shoves him into Paul for a greeting.

McCartney totally snubbed both of them.

What can I say? I wasn't feeling well and had to watch something.

LJ.

glencar It was an hour-long commercial. I realize that most people who appear on the show have something to sell but this thing was pretty crass. And Paulie looks worse than Jessica Fletcher these days since she has a better surgeon!

Nellcote I was uncontrollably hoping Stumpy would storm the set, and belt Macca (Angela Lansbury) with her leg. Did you see the squirm Macca had when Larry asked Ringo if he played on Macca's Memory I Can't Recall cd? Macca is so self serving.
Ringo has so many all star people he can call upon in a minute's notice, he's much more of a real bloke. That Jesus, thank you Lord Larry did not lose it, and ask Yoko to sing... LJ, I noticed how Macca brushed off Larry's kid, as well as his wife Shawn, in her glitter outfit, it was primo....
