For what its worth, I've heard from a few sources over the last year that this tour would finish in London and that the band themselves had wanted London as the finale because it WILL be the REAL finale.

Time will tell.

Yeah...that scares me as it makes sense.

Time will tell.

ok - on the London thinking: wouldn't thety consider making it a live pay per view thing? maybe the movie theater deal. Hell, if it were "the end" i'd do whateever i could to see it. Hell, i'd drop $100 to see it from the comfort of my living room (so i could weep in private.)

LadyJane I have a feeling they will be back on US soil.
I just do.
And I'm an eternal pessimist.

But if anyone wants to send me to London, I will do just about anything in return!!!!!!!!!

I dont think we'll know for sure it's all over until after the event itself. As long as they have the physical capability, theres always a 'maybe'...

They are not a band putting out new material for creative purposes... They are a nostolgia act...
Sadly... Also the shortened setlists, compared to a tour like 1994, is possibly another reason, back then those 3 or 4 more songs were new album songs...
Personally, I think it is lame....

Moonisup I would love them to do smaller shows. I donīt want them to end like Sinatra.
I donīt see them quiting touring, honestly. And well, if thereīs no Rolling stones anymore, hopefully some outtakes then:d

Is this the Licks tour?

The album mini-suite. A great idea that, as is typical of our Stones, that never got the full treatment it deserved.
