And we could have all those loonies worshipping Bryan Jones doing auctions of swimming pool tiles on the side, oops, I think I've gone too far....
But, yes, LJ, you have had an absolute gem of an idea....

aah fuck it, i'l ldo it now
arrived round 1430,
already some people there, but nothing that would endanger
the chance of getting a good spot.
Ju turned up at 1500 and said "got a present for you",
and then i gave me a heineken.
instantly he became my best friend.
we hung together at the entrance, where i did the usual stuff: talking to fans that know (heard of) me from RO,
speaking to the newspapers, talking to the tv reporters,
shaking hands, signing autographs and drinking beer.
Busy, but very rewarding.
gates opened at 1730. at 1st they let about 1/2 person per minute in, and i started to get nervous at this point
(cos i really wanted to get inside to go do pee pee)
but after that it was easy (see one of the clips)
and we had a good spot without running.
(i like not running)
hanging around a bit, several beer runs to a nearby beerstand.
then several beer runs to beerstand further away.
(the other one ran out about 30mns after we got in the stadium)
then it was time for starwarssailorship.
well what can i say, but 3 words:
"ROCK AND ROLL"
The stadium was bouncing to the sweet tunes of "4 to the floor".
exit startroopers and moving on!
(yes max, i did have to go for the pee pee again,
but didn't, in fear of losing my spot)
Then finally at 21:06:58 paris time: the boys!
Just fantastic.
now i must say that i'm not picky at all:
give me a good spot, so i can see well, and i'm happy.
but they were GOOD.

All the keef stories had me worried a bit,
but he took all my worries away!
but i must say, he seems to get weirder/stranger every time
i see him. like he's not really there... less and less movement as well.
(but i'm not picky, so...)
some peopel wondered if i was able to enjoy the show while filming.
well, really it's not that complicated at all.
just point, shoot & email.
(beer in other hand for balance)
in case you're wondering; i never filmed a whole song,
because it would take too long to send afterwards
30 secs of (medium quality) film, can already
take 1 to 2 minutes to send.
and the idea was to bring this show to you as "live" as possible.
I had fun doing it, and think we definitely took it a bit further.
however for the next (?) concert i want to do real reporter bits. interviews and shit.
of course i will require my own trailer, bought & paid for by RO.
It was great meeting JU, his buddy, his gilrfriend, jeep
and ALL the otehr people that shook my hand / asked for autographs.

In an ideal world a lot of us would perhaps just fly from show to show and see them almost every second night(in between much whinging and whining of how Vegas-alike/ jaded/old /arthritic/drunk/drugged/commercially ruthless they are). This thread to me was "second best" to doing just that.It made my shitty day at work so much better....
