corgi37 This is what Jesus drank at the last supper, and what the Pope no doubt was annointed with.

It's also what has contributed to my Vasculitis.

I certainly do. I have a friend who had a house painting business back a few years ago. He used to buy two of those every morning about 7 am, just to get started. By noon he was usually pretty drunk. Needless to say his house painting business went belly up in short order.

the Lord loves the drinkin' man
He sends honky-tonk angels to the Promised Land,
I hear that he can turn water to wine
Any man that can do that, oh he's good friend of mine
I've been baptized in beer, I'm here to testify,
I was speakin' in tongues when I came home last night
Some folks say I'm livin' in sin,
But I know the Lord loves the drinkin' man

Well, my Daddy said: "Son you're living your life all wrong
"Lightin''s gonna strike you down before too long
"That man upstairs, he don't like what you do
"When you reach those Pearly Gates, you ain't getting through."
Well, I've been thinkin', got a brand new plan:
I'm gonna start a little Church down at the Stumble Inn
Yeah, that's right, I'm gonna start my own religion,
We'll be drinkin' and dancin' at the church of Hank Williams, yeah

The Lord loves the drinkin' man

nankerphelge Ain't drinking, but is alcohol related and freakin' strange:

Seattle police launched an investigation on Friday to determine how a patient undergoing emergency heart surgery caught on fire at a local hospital in 2003.

The male patient, who was not identified, went up in flames after alcohol poured on his skin was ignited by a surgical instrument.

The patient died after the surgery but that was due to heart failure and not the fire, said Dr. Robert Caplan, medical quality director of Virginia Mason.

Caplan said fires are known to occur in operating rooms although they were extremely rare.

The two-year-old incident became publicly known after an anonymous letter sent to the media mentioned it as a sign of unsafe health care at the hospital, and said the patient burned to death.

Caplan strongly disputed its contents. "That letter is factually incorrect," he said.

egon you seem to have a fascination with death lately.
this points to depression.
alcohol helps against depression.
and let on one ever tell you otherwise.

Ten Thousand Motels Drunk monkeys cause chaos

A group of drunk monkeys rampaged through an Indian village after stealing a specially fermented drink.

The primates stole the liquor made from marijuana leaves which residents were preparing for a religious festival.

Stunned Baralapokhari villagers struck back at the inebriated monkeys with sticks and other weapons and drove them away.

Three residents sustained injuries requiring hospital treatment, reports The Times of India.

The intoxicating 'pana' drink had been prepared from marijuana leaves as part of an offering to Hindu gods for the Oriya new year.

The villagers had kept it in pots outside their huts, an official said.

Monkeys that passed out have since been returned to the forest.
