You were kind enough to add your name to the I-petition supporting the re-opening of the police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Brian Jones. There are now well over 200 names on the petition and I am writing to you ask if you might take a look at a new page on the Brian Jones Fan Club website focusing on Brian’s death and in particular the upcoming film ‘The Wild and Wyckid World of Brian Jones’.
At http://www.brianjonesfanclub.com we’ve published a lot of the recent media coverage of the proposed film including BBC footage of a recent news report from Cotchford Farm which includes comments from both Stephen Woolley and Terry Rawlings (author of ‘Who Killed Christopher Robin’). There is a link direct to this new page on our Introduction Page and should you wish, we would very much appreciate your views and comments using the form at the foot of the webpage.
With all the recent media coverage of the up-coming Stephen Woolley film we would like to gauge the opinion of fans and others as to the reported scenario the film is likely to take. You might see at the foot of the webpage that there already some very interesting comments posted.
Here at the Brian Jones Fan Club we’ve been looking into Brian’s death for some time now and in our first issue of AfterMath, John MacGillivray’s article ‘Through The Past Darkly’ generated new information which we intend making public at the appropriate time. The I-petition that you added your name to reveals the depth of interest there is in furthering the truth and we hope that the forum on our website will generate views and comments which will help finally get to the truth behind Brian’s death.
If after viewing our website you would like to join the Brian Jones Fan Club and support our aims then we would be more than pleased to hear from you either through the website or direct to me at [email protected]. Our in-house magazine AfterMath has received some great reviews most of which can be found on the website together with contents of the three magazines to date and our free CD with audio and video content on Brian.
Thanks in anticipation for any comments you might make and if you might be able to get the message out to a wider audience then that would also be greatly appreciated.
Best wishes
Trevor Hobley
p.s. for non-Broadband users the BBC footage can be downloaded in better quality by clicking the link to the Broadband download - but this will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. |
