This is not the same version as "Sweet Home Chicago," this is off my own DAT master. I borrowed the microphone set up of my friend who I was staying with. I got lucky I guess. "Sister Morphine" is absolutely divine at this gig. Almost no volume in Keith's guitar at the beginning of the show. I remember listening to just a few minutes of SHC to see if it was sourced from this recording or not. Both sound good but from what I remember SHC had just a bit more intrusive crowd noise than this one.

I was there for 3 days but saw very little of the city. My friend said "there is my collection, copy whatever you want," so I had little incentive to even go outside.

As soon as the show was over I ran out the door and into a cab and down the street to the Empty Bottle for the Kelley Deal 6000 at
midnight. That one will be transferred and going up over Dime in the next few days.

I am not at home and will only be here til tomorrow around 12pst, hopefully it gets snatched before then.

Heads Is Tails Does anybody have a copy of the SBD of 11/11/89 from The Cotton Bowl ("Texas Rangers", I think), or of "Welcome to the Breakfast Show" ( VGP-337), which I understand has 11/8/69a they could add to the Rocks Off tracker?

If not, does anyone know where I might be able to locate VGP-337?

Thanks!
27th May 2007 04:15 PM
stalemate97_2006 All two boots are available on bootlegarchive.com

Texas rangers (2 cds)
vgp337 - cd1 only (don't know why (perhaps official material on second disc ??)
27th May 2007 04:20 PM
Erik_Snow I think they omitted Disc 2, as that show is available in better quality on a torrent-version.
BTW, Thanks for the uploads, Marko, and for nice artwork Gonzalo.
27th May 2007 07:03 PM
Erik_Snow BTW, would "Necrophilia" be allowed on the tracker, or does that material count as "official" ?

Not quite the stellar digital quality you may be used to but a nice find and I was under the impression this is an uncirculated show though I haven't paid much attention really. Guitars still sound nice. There is some static during SFTD and PIB. I checked, I got a clean rip so not sure if it happened when my copy was made or if it was like that on the master.

Edited to add - if anyone knows anyone who plans on taping at Isle Of Wight, have them contact me, I need a favor. More uncirculated shows in the archive are dependant on a positive outcome.

Thanks Dan - what a great surprise to find this gig here ! I can "offer" you only Budapest, Brno and St-Petersburg but I'm sure it won't be a problem to forward IOW-discs to you. Drop me a line if interested.
