think RAID.

people thought i was nuts a few years ago, but they are becoming more commonplace for home network storage now...

the r stands for redundant, so if a hard drive fails, you lose no data (if set up properly). you just have to have twice the number of drives. but you can always add more, two at a time...

Tumblin_Dice_07 This is the first time I've posted here. I apologise if this is considered poor etiquette....

I've been downloading the New York 6/27/75 recording and I'm stuck at 95.7%. I was wondering if anybody could possibly help me?

Thanks in advance.

LieMfB Hi Tumbling_Dice_07, peeping in from IORR, I see?

I have a similar request ... can anyone seed the "Valentine's Day" Brisbane February 14 1973 torrent? I'm stuck too. Thanks a million in advance!

Erik_Snow I've got the original Dragon Slayers from 1993, I could upload it....
But why would anybody want that one? It's available on You Can't Do That Baby and other releases in far superior quality.

Yep it's me. I tried to get that Brisbane show that you're talking about for a couple of weeks and finally gave up on it. I already have it in mp3 format but I'm wanting an upgrade. I'd be grateful if somebody could seed it as well.

That really sucks about the Dragon Slayers torrent. I had just finished it last night.

Thanks to whoever seeded the New York 6/27/75 show again. I'm up to 97.5% and counting!

There's about 10 "new" Ladies&Gentlemen bootlegs out there, they are all quite the same, but some people prefer the Halcyon release....it depends on one's taste of EQ/mixing. I stick to You Can't Do That Baby.
Not a major difference....

What's the title of the new Halcyon release?

BTW, thanks to the seeders who helped me finish the New York 6/27/75 show.

If the tracker wil be up again I would like to upload the following which I have prepared:

THE ROLLING STONES
December 1, 1981: Pontiac, Michigan, Silverdome

Wolfgang's Vault -> Recorded with Adobe Audition -> WAV -> Nero 7 -> CD -> EAC -> FLAC Frontend -> FLAC

The silences between the tracks and the repeated announcement before "She's So Cold" are removed.

* from "Going To A Go Go" (DAC-034) mono (volume adjusted)
** from "Ride Like The Wind" (VGP-290) stereo

Wolfgang's Vault is LOSSY !!!

Wolfgang's Vault was already analized by me in the past when GTRM posted the 1978-07-06 Masonic Temple Auditorium concert and all the frequencies were below 14 HKz, really LOSSY !!! The compression was very high, all freq. above 14 KHz were cut off. We could see the classic "hair cut" at 14 KHz.

Even more, the torrent was banned on Dime and Zomb.

TORRENT BANNED FROM DIME and ZOMB !
sorry folks, all the Wolfgang's Vault stuff is lossy.

Wait for a silverCD or CDR of "Going To A Go Go" (DAC-034) instead of sharing this LOSSY crap.

Although I am against lossy formats in generally I would like to see this at tracker because at this moment we don't have this in lossless quality. It is lossy or nothing.

midnrambler has done good job (I believe) and I like to hear it.
