Thanks Lazy for the heads up.With all the LA 75 versions out there maybe someone will do a top notch matrix. Is this the "definitive" version of the LA run?...or just another source.....

It's definate for July 12th. And definate for the audience source of July 11th....better sounding than the SB source.
It would be interesting with the matrix of those 2 sources.
But Lost Millard Masters is not definate source for July 13th.

macman What is considered to be "THE DEFINITIVE" source for the Final 75 LA Show (JUly 13)? Thanks in Advance!!!
6th April 2007 03:23 PM
Erik_Snow Definitive July 13th:
"The Complete LA Friday Tapes" (Dandelion).
Especially disc 3 and 4 are fantastic of that set. But 7 songs are from July 10th on those discs, so you need disc 1 + 2 to get the complete show. That's a different sounding recording from disc 3+4.
Silkcut has torrented that boxset on Dime, but there are no seeders. And I can't help, as I only have the original box, not the Flac-files.

Erik_Snow Yes, I think it's the same. All of the torrents of that uploader are "old torrents", one of them torrents was made by me a few months ago.

LOL. The first place that recording actually saw the light of day was right here last August, Jim - before any bootleg company decided to press it and release it commercially! It was known at the "Steel Wheels Monitor Mixes". It's still on our tracker, although currently inactive. It's a gem - enjoy it.

It would be interesting if you could upload the "original" version of this bootleg because I downloaded a "clean" version last year from Dime.

Read below:

---------START------------------

Lineage: Silver Disc > CDr > EAC > Sound Forge editing > FLAC (editing includes Vinyl Restoration and very slight EQ, to reduce echo on vocals and raise bass).

Seeder's notes:

This Dandelion release was plagued with production problems. My silver discs came with flaws. I have traded with 5 other people ( to get copies of their silver pressed discs), but all had the same problems. All of the "Goat's Head Soup material had digi-noise and skips. YCAGWYW, All Down The Line, and Rip This Joint had flaws as well.

Recently, I bought a CDr copy (of a silver pressed disc) from someone else, and although it too had the same problems, they were subtler, so I EAC'ed that CDr and went to work on the WAV files.

After trying many "DeClick" settings in my audio editor, I finally gave up because it only worked on limited sections of the problem songs. Then I tried using a "vinyl restoration" program, and after many setting adjustments, it worked.

So here is the clean version of this wonderful recording . . . .

Not included in this torrent is Disc 2 (poor quality Quicktime movies)

---------------END------------------

Many thanks,
Gonzalo

luxury1 On Cindy P's I Love Mick Jagger website, she has five songs (videos) from the Radio City Hall gig. Both audio and visual are pretty darn sweet. Any one have the DVD or CD she seems to have?? (I do have a dvd of this show, but it is not the one Cindy has--I must track it down....)
17th April 2007 08:47 AM
mitchouboy Hi there,
I was wondering if somebody would be kind enough to upload the alternate HBO show at the msg... I guess it would interest some people around there...

There was also some french TV programs called "Rapido" and "Les enfants du Rock" with some very interesting interviews of Jagger, do anybody got this stuff there?

Thank you very much for everything.

This was a South African TV broadcast that omitted Rock And A Hard Place. I'm not sure why You Got Me Rocking is missing and Rocks Off is listed (it wasn't performed).
