Just heard their debut and thought it is amazing! Those guys truly rock and the man´voice is fantastic!

Hearing White Unicorn on and on and on...

Coming Down Again If you like them another modern band that has a cool retro sound is "The Eagles of Death Metal". Yes, the name is a bit much but the tracks are great. Check out the tune "Cherry Cola".

Saint Sway saw them live. And they definately 'brought it'.

they seriously rocked hard. Fun show. The frontmans great. All 70s rock star guitar poses. I really dug the riffs.

They kick ass onstage. If you want to rawk hard at a show and shoot your devil horns this is the band for you. But I cant get past the Dio/dungeon & dragon lyrics and imagery.

I cant help but think of them as the band that Tenacious D makes fun of.

I love Wolfmother BECAUSE of their Zeppelinisms

Seriously, they really are a great band and with a debut so strong as this, I think we're in for a very good follow-up in the years to come. Haven't seen or heard them live, but from what I read hear they don't dissapoint at this level either. Great!

corgi37 Wolfmother are sooooo 2005. They are further cementing Australia's reputation as a nation of retro rockers.

Yeah, but I can't stand Zeppelin.

Wolfmother also has a Sabbath-side too, though, which is much more bearable than the Zeppelinisms.

Saint Sway the Joker And The Thief song at one point nicks the Fairies Wear Boots riff. But Sabbath was so much heavier.

this bands good. But they're a long way from Zep & Sabbath comparisons. Very unwaranted at this point IMO

They covered "Brown Sugar" at the Sunset Junction with the Suicide Girls.

corgi37 Their film clips are amazingly derivative. Almost breach copyright as far as i am concerned.

I liked them earlier this year, but after awhile, its quite dull. Glad they are doing well though. Flying the flag for us.

Where the hell is Jet's next cd?

Saint Sway I've decided the band is a joke - on par with The Darkness. Pushing the Spinal Tap scale of mocumentary to 11.

that said, they rock and will be opening some dates with Govt Mule

that equals a night of heavy rock

fo sho

That's the first thing I thought when I saw them, but yeah, they pretty much rock anyway. And definitely rock more than Darkness.

corgi37 Of course Aussies rock more than any Pom band.

Except for 1.

Maybe 2.
