gimmekeef With no dates after Oct 2nd showing..wonder if that opens up the chance for some Stones openers in Oct-Dec?

TheSavageYoungXyzzy Doubt it. They got a lukewarm reception at best last time, despite their admiration for the Stones (I think Keith got them on the bill, not sure though), and Jack White is on record stating his furious hatred of all things arena/stadium, although he does love his festivals.

I'm going to the Boston show with the Greenhornes and the Coney Island show. a buddy of mine and I are both Stripes fanatics and are discussing pooling our resources for a road trip to Montreal... Now that would be fucking awesome.

Not if you have good seats! The floor, which was recently expanded, is GA.

Don't you like seeing shows with trees around? I have many wonderful memories of the place...The only thing that sucks about Merriweather is the police crackdown on drinking and partying in the lot. Back in the day (which was only the mid-'90s), they had the most laid back policy.

GimmeExile Woo-hoo! I just scored a GA pit ticket for Merriweather, and the area is only about ten rows deep.
