just a quick heads up to my fellow NYC RocksOffers.... 2 cool shows 2nite in NY.
Sex Mob is doing a tribute to Billy Preston.
Alejandro Escoveda is performing at Irving Plaza.
Sex Mob is nuts. Really crazy, fun funk/jazz band from N.O. I'm sure they'll bust out a trippy version of "Melody" and plenty of other BP goodies.
Alejandro Escoveda does the coolest and most mournful version of "Sway" I've ever heard. As well as a cool version of Jagger's "Evening Gown". He's also an amazing talent in his own right and not to be missed. |

he lives in NYC, is a known fan of Escovdo....
