Topic: Inside the Aragon Return to archive

midnightmagic For those who are going to the Aragon show I found some pics from inside the place. Looks a bit crowded. Does that look like 4500? I also read that the sound sucks in the place the ceiling is like a concrete inverted bowl.
I wonder how early you should get there to be able to get up close?

parmeda Midnight...All I can tell you is, Pack-A-Lunch!!...lol. The Aragon is VERY tight, you'll feel like a sardine. And remember, there's going to be a whole different breed of cat going to see that show. (Word is: celebs and the likes) It should be an experience that you can savor for a lifetime...however, don't be surprised if you're disappointed...the sound is terrible...no matter who is playing there. Good luck, and try to have a good time. I'll be at The United Center, hopefully a lot more comfortable than you'll be.

Stonzy78 In my opinion the sound doesn't suck you are packed tight in there though. Unless they put chairs on the floor like they did when i saw keith and the winos there in '92. Every other show i've seen there its been standing room only except the balcony. But i think thats probably one of the best venues for a rock n' roll show. Can't wait to see the Stones there.

voodoopug I am ready for that show! I dont think they will put seats on the floor, but I will be interested to see how they let people in (celebs first? or fans first?)

Joey "celebs first? "

Definitely celebrities first ! Look for Steve Sanders to be there along with all of the WGNTV anchor people .
