Yes, I have the boot and it is indeed excellent...2 versions of Let it Rock..one in stereo...

Honky Tonk Man The stereo version of Let It Rock was an official release. It was the UK B-side of Brown Sugar.

It also has a terrible "I've got the Blues" from the Marquee show?

No I don't think so. The UK single of Brown Sugar had two B-sides. The other was Bitch. Just like on the US release.

That Marquee show isn't too hot.

jb I was referring to the boot....just finished the show...most excellent.....

Gazza >No I don't think so. The UK single of Brown Sugar had two B-sides. The other was Bitch. Just like on the US release.

Let It Rock was only issued on the UK single. There was only one b-side ("Bitch") on other releases

There are some software that enable to download and save to your hard disc the streaming audio. Personally, I use TotalRecorder. You can download it here:
http://www.highcriteria.com/
NB: it's not free, but for USD 11.95 it's very good value. You can save as mp3 or wav files and record just about everything.

NB: I downloaded the show yesterday, but even if it's a good broadcast, there's still some compression and thus lessened quality. If you can get a good copy of the CD boot, it's probably better.

jpenn11 The version with Marquee songs is a remaster:

LEED GUITARS... TV STARS ( Turd On The Run Records TOTR CD-002, GYLLO-R ) - CDr

1. Dead Flowers
Leeds, University 13.3 1971
2. Stray Cat Blues
3. Love In Vain
4. Midnight Rambler
5. Bitch
6. Intro.
7. Honky Tonk Women
8. ( I Can’t Get No ) Satisfaction
9. Little Queenie
10. Brown Sugar
11. Street Fighting Man
12. Let It Rock
13. Let It Rock
official stereo
14. I Got The Blues
London, Marquee Club 26.3 1971
15. Bitch
see 14
16. Dead Flowers I
London, Olympic Studios dec.1969

There may be a few other remasters with similar variations, but the "rest" of the concert does not seem to have turned up yet.

Incidentally, I think the stereo "Let It Rock" replaced "Sister Morphine" on the Spain release of the Sticky Fingers LP. I don't have a copy, so I'm not sure.

Yup. Convert it to empty3 and it'll sound even crappier.

Thats right. "Sister Morphine" was banned from appearing on the album there. They also had a different album sleeve, which was a set of sticky human fingers inside a tin
