mojoman Well, When I Met You At The Station
You Were Standing With A Bootleg In Your Hand.
I Took You Back To My Little Place
For A Taste Of A Multicoloured Band.
We're Gonna Get Hi Hi Hi,
The Night Is Young.
She'll Be My Funky Little Mama,
Gonna Rock It And We've Only Just Begun.

We're Gonna Get Hi Hi Hi
With The Music On.
Won't Say Bye-Bye Bye-Bye Bye-Bye Bye-Bye
'Til The Night Is Gone.
I'm Gonna Do It To You, Gonna Do It,
Sweet Banana, You'll Never Give Up.
We're Gettin' Hi Hi Hi In The Midday Sun.

Well Well, Take Off Your Face,
Recover From The Trip You've Been On.
I Want To Lie On The Bed,
Get You Ready For My Polygon.
I'm Gonna Do It To You, Gonna Do It,
Sweet Banana, You've Never Been Done.
Yes, I Go Like A Rabbit, Gonna Grab It,
Gonna Do It 'Til The Night Is Done.

We're Gonna Get Hi Hi Hi With The Music On.
Won't Say Bye-Bye Bye-Bye Bye-Bye Bye-Bye
'Til The Night Is Gone.
I'm Gonna Do It To You, Gonna Do It,

Paul_McCartney Thank you all for the well wishes!

Also, check out my new album, Memory Almost Full, either on Itunes or at your local Starbuck's! It really is the best Macca in years.

Macca! I will be listening Band On The Run (the album) in a few minutes. "Country Dreamer" (bonus track, in my edition); why don't you sing that "live"?

Well, that was rhetorical. Sorry. But, again, happy B-Day!
19th June 2007 12:51 AM
Paul_McCartney Well, thanks for the well wishes! It's so good to get out among the common people and hear their opinions.

I would have, but I was busy in the studio recording "Venus and Mars".

However, I will be touring soon behind my very talented but somewhat less talented than me band. After all, I have a brand new album out that just reached the top of the charts in its first week. If you come see me on tour, you may just hear this song. I am well known for playing long and entertaining set lists, mind you.

Why thank you, Mr. HTM. These are two of my favorites as well. Can you believe that George wanted to axe Maxwell's Silver Hammer and replace it with another one of his tunes, All Things Must Pass or something like that? Funny, really. As we all know, I was a much better musician and songwriter than George (my "baby brother") was.

Speaking of good songwriting and expert musicianship, both are on display on my newest album, "Memory Almost Full". Check it out on Itunes today!

I love you Paul McCartney

I saw your new album last evening being prominently displayed in the Barnes & Noble Cafe' -- and I ALMOST bought it -- but had to go and take a an emergency ' post dinner ' dump . Why ?!
19th June 2007 02:23 PM
MrPleasant Hey Paul, Maxwell's Silver Hammer is great. It's the comic relief of Abbey Road. I've read that it was partially inspired by that "confirmation" ritual for when the Pope dies.

It's so great that this dude was listening to it, minutes before this incident.
