Just read somewhere on the net that The White Stripes are playing the Fillmore in June (sorry, can't remember the exact date). Tickets on sale on June 16th (I think, please check on their site! ) at the boxoffice of the Fillmore, CASH ONLY, no refunds. I would kill to go, am seing them at Harewood House tomorrow, and it has not stopped raining since yesterday, so it's Wellington boots, umbrellas, etc, but I'm still really excited, and it's their only UK gig this summer....

Can't remember exactly who of our American friends live in New York..LJ, GTRM and Saint Sway, or have I got this wrong?? If you've never seen them live before and you're not busy giving birth or having a leg amputated you should go!!!!

I thought Filmore East closed years ago.

Yah, I just found out yesterday that Irving Plaza closed down and reopened as the Fillmore East.
