This is awesome - Petty sings this perfectly, and band is doing everything right.
Saw him twice, fantastic shows.

Thanks Moonie! You guys started like the new (true) MTV on Rocks Off. I enjoy the range of videos from Eazy-E to Tom Petty. I tried a search for Cannonball Adderley on the Tube but seems there's just no uploaded film of the master performing one of my favorites. However, the Buckinghams did a damn good cover with lyrics in '67. We're in that season again! Open air bars... cool beers... elegant women strolling by... live jazz in the breeze... Mercy, Mercy, Mercy!

Dude, you need not apologize for posting Keith playing Chuck EVER. When Keith gets lost in his playing, (another good example is ..well lots of stuff from the Hail Hail! show and Bye Bye Johnny 72) I get lost too.

CHECK THIS OUT! -- I just had to add a note here--after watching the video a number of times. Go towards the end at the 40 sec. point where lead singer, Brian Connolly is looking over to stage-right. The camera then closes in above the cymbals on a chick who evidently is bouncing out of her blouse! A girlfriend's hands reach over to button her up. HAHAHAHAH! Fox on the Run, indeed. What I wouldn't give to join that mid-70s audience!
