Nellcote And another, did I tell you the Student Council got these guys to play at our high school, in '75?
Oh man, they used to play at VFW halls, Elks halls, golf clubs in the area at the time.
Joe P grew up one town from me...
I used to fight my firends how they would never last as long as the Stones, however, they've made me a fool...

19th May 2007 09:43 PM
Nellcote And another, I was wicked into glam rock...

19th May 2007 09:46 PM

Nellcote Meg!
Y'all got to see the Smothers Bros, that is history!
They were the best. I dug when Ed Sullivan would trot them out.
This was my first show, no parents, too busy for me.
So, I went with my brother.
Back in the day, it was a lottery to get tix.
A local promoter lived in our town, who we did biz with.
Got the tix day of the show.
1st row, balcony, left side, Bahston Gahden...
This song had great lights & mirrors at the end...
The rest is history.....

19th May 2007 09:57 PM
Nellcote We are going to make Rocks Off History 2nite...
Ok, back to the early 70's....More glam...
