Topic: Live 8 Tickets on ebay.com Return to archive
June 15th, 2005 07:00 AM
Voodoo Scrounge I for one am very dissapointed with not being able to purchase them from ebay.
I watched the news last night and was gutted to hear the MD of ebay.com say that they will pull the ads for the tickets off the site.
I am not a unsensitive man and I realise that lots of people feel that the money raised should go to charity. However, I feel that if the tickets are GIVEN to people, they should be able to do with them what they please.
I have a suvere dislike for Bob Geldof who, although has raised a lot of money for charity, has no real musical claim to fame.
I am gutted by the whole thing.
