"Do you ever have a song that kind of gets to you. I mean, you put it on and it sticks with you? Right now, I have "Blinded By Love" from Steel Wheels on.Not my favorite album, but I put it on last night. Kind of sticks with me, is it just the magic of the Stones?"
Let's play Blinded by Love in his honor
Rest in peace TracyGene

Very sad news indeed. He only posted his 'goodbye' on Gasland on Thursday, saying he had about 3 weeks left. In a way, I guess it's merciful for him that it was quick in the end.
I didnt know TracyGene personally, only through his posts, mostly on Gasland, but he always seemed a nice guy. he'll be greatly missed. RIP |

Holy Crap, I'm really pissed and sad. I knew Tracy Gene from Gasland and he was always a class act. I remember him posting that he was going to get some Iggy cds and asking me which I'd recommend. After he became ill, I asked TG for his addy and sent him some Iggy. He wrote me the NICEST Thank YOU (in Private Mesages). I was moved to tears. Damn, I'm really mad and sad.
RIP, My friend TG. |

Seems Tracy was quite a distinguished war hero in the 1st Gulf War too. He packed a lot in to the short time he had. |

I already miss Tracy.
I too got to know Tracy privately via email and through the US mail.
He always told me that he was, "25 chords behind me" !! lol
I always told him, "If I made it out to your 1500 acre goat ranch someday, I could catch you up !!!"
Tracy, I will think of you and talk about you at the 7/9 Gasser Gathering.
See you sometime down the road Bro !!

Wow, I didn't know he was a Gulf war vet. I really liked him, and miss him already. I cried for TG yesterday. He was such a humble, unassuming, beautiful, spiritual soul.
