In spite of this, she continued to work with Morcheeba, a band of trip hop branded, selfish fools with a nasty reputation for self destruction who's past curriculum included playing and recording with pub bands and producing versatile world class records. Floundering music enthusiasts became the team Skye did not envision, spiritual navigators in an age of trawling the net. Led by Skye's gorgeous tones, the Godfrey Bros, together with their sound surgeon Pete Norris decided they had to lead more creative and fulfilling lives, eating out every night and partying till dawn was beginning to take it's toll and they were getting bored. With this in mind they realised they needed new songs and a new record in the shops. They would have to teach themselves with music and the music could spread the feeling they were achieving in their state of the art recording studio. Ross, a reincarnated blues man, was all in favour of this, as he had been using his feelings for years before Morcheeba and was becoming disillusioned with being led astray. So what stands before you is "Big Calm" an album of such incredible beauty and versatility that it defies all logic. With this, the band went out to buy some new clothes as they had a cool image to keep up.
