West 8 What does anyone think ? Is he playing with Crazy Horse ? Is it mellow or hard ?

Gazza its fucking brilliant

No Crazy Horse, but Rick Rosas, Chad Cromwell etc - the same core band he used on "Freedom" - plus a 100-strong choir on a few tracks

written, recorded and released in the space of a few weeks..and possibly his strongest album since Ragged Glory

pdog It has grown on me well. I've purchased so much new stuff, it's been hard to digest a few thing, cause some stuff is just stellar. Depends on moods and what time I have ect...
It's cool and anyone who isn't a Neo-Con will like it!

I've learned to limit how much new cds I buy at once bc what happens when I buy a bunch is that i can only focus my attention on 1 or 2 that initially stand out and grab me right away and then the others get set aside and never get a real good listen.

so now I try to keep my purchases to 1 or 2 cds at a time.

but back on topic... sort of.... the dvd of Jonathon Demme's Neil Young film "Heart of Gold" is out TODAY!!! Saw it in the theatres - luvved it. Luv Neil. Gonna pick it up this weekend!!

b sure to pick up Living With War too. I find it just so-so. But its Neil and so-so Neil is better than 94.6% of all other releases.
