Oh, Riffy, stop, really. I've more than likely read as much or more on a tremendous amount of topics but I also listen to opposing viewpoints before deciding what to believe. I'm well aware of who Soros is but again it cracks me up to hear the Right demonize him when for every one Soros that contributes to the Dems, there are at least 5 like him or worse that contribute to and who are pandered to by the Republicans. Really, the hypocrisy is telling.
Again, Zarqawi, good. The rest I hope works out and our soldiers can stop being killed.
My only question: Is Dubya bringing the fake turkey with him again? |

So let's see in the last week what has transpired,shall we?
1.-Zarqawi has been killed.
2.-Iraq has established a multiethnic Parliment that was democratically voted into office.
3.-Bush's polls numbers have been going up steadily. (not that this means much to me,but it sure as hell does not help the "Bush Sucks" crowd which can only be good for America.)
4.-Karl Rove has been cleared and will face no charges at all.
5.-Last but not least. Bush is right now on his way to Iraq to congratulate the troops and to recieve the new Iraqi goverment.
All in all a very good week for America. A very bad week for.....well you know.

Trust me Raspy I'm as well read on any topic as you are politically. That much I know. One thing that does puzzle me though is your insistance that the Right has a 5 to 1 ratio with regards to assholes like Soros. On that you are 100% wrong fella. Please enlighten me as to exactly which political contributor on the Right has stated that he would spend his entire fortune to defeat any Democrat. Good for this self absorbed asshole! He likens himself to some self agrandizing progressive,but the truth is far different than he would ever let the lefties know about.
For example he stated that,"We must put common inerest ahead of our individual self-intrest even if others fail to do so. That is the only way the common interest can prevail." Sounds good,right?
Not so fast there George. He can say this horseshit ad nauseum,but it certainly doesn't mean that he believes this high minded crap. To begin with he has made almost his entire fortune by curancy speculation. Currency speculation is a particularly predetory form of capitalism. Most forms of capitalisim include vouluntary exchange. Bill Gates,for example,has made billions because people chose to spend their money on Microsoft products. In currancy speculation you profit by betting that others will lose large sums of money. When a nation's currancy crashes,hurting an entire country,Soros makes billions. This is how Soros has made the bulk of his fortune. Pity the poor fucks that get screwed over. George wins!
Soros plays his greedy games in other ways too. For example he has been known to quitely "short" a currancy(betting that it will go lower) and then publicly state that it will drop. He then sells for a tidy profit. As the Banker for International Settlements noted in one annual report,big investors who do this "can more often than not make that view self-fulfilling." This is not illegal because Soros established his Quantum Fund(and all his other funds) offshore,meaning that he is not subject to Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules. How nice! So much for the "little guy",huh George? That's what I call putting the common interest above self-interest! Did you say hypocrite,Raspy?
Yeah ol' George is a great guy! He is oh-so-concerned about the less fortunate! He's a phoney fuck with deep pockets,and he is dictating much of what the Democrat Party does and says. What he dictates is some very far left views,and if you're as well read as you claim Raspy you would know these things.
