Gimme Shelter Ok, I'm at work and I'm bored. So if everyone had to pick just one Stones song that was their absolute favorite what would it be?

For me it's "Gimme Shelter"
06-10-03 12:19 AM
parmeda That's pretty obvious Gimme, lol...

Mine would have to be SFTD.

BUT...I do seem to have a 'favorite-of-the-day' that I will just beat to death. (Depends on the mood, lol)

Today's special: Route 66

J.J.Flash Damn, this one is very hard do answer so suddenly buddy. I think I will never can ask this. It's hard to me say "Jumpin' Jack Flash" if we have Midnight Rambler, Can't You Hear Me Knockin', Gimmme Shelter, Paint it Black, and so one and so forth.......
In fact, I hate myself because I'm very hesitant on some questions in life, like, what's the best Stones song or when I'm at Blockbuster wondering "damn, what fuckin' movie I should take" or when I'm at a restaurant, even on McDonnald's.........

---What can I do?

Just like in the movie The Matrix, there is no spoon.

Regarding The Stones, there is no favorite.

Mr. D My all time fav has to be "Time waits for no one", with Midnight Rambler and Gimme Shelter coming in at second.
06-10-03 04:50 PM
TheSavageYoungXyzzy "Rocks Off".

There are very few songs that I put on that cause me to jump up and down, and this is one of them.

I got in trouble in school for roaring "Awww yeahhhhhhhh fuck EVERYTHING!" when I put it on. It's just one of those songs. I don't drive with it, 'cuz I'd probably wind up going fifty over the speed limit.

Paulcarr87 Jumpin Jack Flash, for many reasons, not the least of which is because that is the greatest song title for any song by any group.
