I've got to work on the ol' boy.
I hate kissin' ass |

Tele, I've got to hook you and the ol' boy up soon.
Everyone else, do you think Tele is a good representative and could sell this trip off to him?
LMAO! |

Yeah JB, or you could stay at the SkyDome if the Harbour Castle
doesn't suit your fancy. (although, I suspect it might??) Try
the Sheraton on BlueJay Way! It's all within close proximity
and walking distance once you're down there. CN Tower, the Docks,
Queens Quay, SkyDome, ACC, Ontario Place, Eaton's Centre, Queen
Street West.. All walk-able with no hassle.
Cheers,
Ian |

Any room to pick up a hitchhiker in NY?
So how many days are you guys thinking of staying? I'm getting a lot of crap from the wife, (see Pam, it works both ways), so I need to know how much finagling (i.e. groveling) I need to do. |

LadyJane |

In all sincerity, after Canada's abandonment of our great country during the war, I could not in good conscience spend a penny in that country even to see the Stones. Many American service men and woman were blown to pieces to protect our freedom and I wll never set foot in Canada, France or Germany out of respect for their memories... |
|
Sir Stonesalot |
The Caddy also comes with an EMT! And a Bass Player! We got it all covered!
Scpoey...why don't you ride the train over to my place. We can get "prepared" for the road properly. |

Something to definitely consider. Let's wait and see if Nanker is gonna do the 'Caddy' - where is that boy today? |

Oh puh-leeeze! Do we even have to explain this?
a) Canada's populace was as evenly split on the war as the States'. And the Chretien government doesn't speak for everyone anymore than the Bush administration. I think that gets covered in grade nine.
It's called representative democracy and you live with it.
b) Everyone knows we have no army left to send in anyways, as they are all in Afghanistan right now and for the foreseeable future fighting Al Qaeda (remember Afghanistan?)
c) The line about WMD's is a little sketchy.
Now we all really know it's about kicking ass as that part of the world just does not fully realise how unacceptable terrorism is, and that it's a great way to draw all the fanatics to fight troops there instead of civilians here, taking some heat off of Israel, and hey, there's some oil and money to be made. To that end, we are all very happy that
the ridiculous stalemate we had before is gone.
But really, dude, abandonment?
Ya gotta be kidding me.
Thru and Thru, baby - There are no two nations as close as Canada and the U.S.

Except the US and the UK, as expressed by both nations many times.

MUST GO TO TORONTO....
Anyone know what all is legal in Toronto in terms of vices? |
|

Hey Sirmoonie. I'd still beg to differ on the UK tip, but hey, enough about politics.
To answer your much more pressing question:
MUST GO TO TORONTO....
Anyone know what all is legal in Toronto in terms of vices?
Booze is legal and last call is 2am with drinks off the table at 2:45am.
Drinking in public is not legal and will land you a 125 dollar fine.
Pot is in a grey zone and the police have said they will not arrest anyone for smoking marijuana, however if you're a prick they'll confiscate your stash.
Prostitution is legal but solicitation isn't.
Gambling is legal but there are no casinos right in the city.
Coacine, Speed & Heroin remain illegal to the max.

Hi kiddies!
Unfortunately, the Caddy is not road-worthy at this point and I doubt I could get it so by the end of next month. And I think we'd have just a slight problem at the border:
Guard: "Anything to declare"
SS: "Yeah, is dope legal in Canada"
FPM: "He didn't mean that, he meant to say how much we love your country"
SS: "Yeah you guys have the best beer -- where is the closest place to buy beer?"
NP: "Speaking of beer -- I've heard I can drive real fast in this country is that true?"
Scope: "Hey, Dudley Do-right, where can I throw all these empties?"
Guard: "Out of the car"

Hey, you know what would be fun....
A pal of mine has a big 'ol Camper. Wouldn't it be cool to park the fucker in the lot, party all day, see the Stones (I'm not gonna bother with all the other bands...I just don't care about the Barenaked Ladies...the band, not actual bare naked ladies.), and then party after till we collapse.
I'll have to see what he thinks about going to Canada. |
