Topic: Being Mick Return to archive

winter Bought Being Mick on DVD this weekend. As a general matter, the "bonus" footage is better than any of the material that aired on TV. Also, it occurred to me that most of the songs on GITDW were pretty good in their raw in process state as shown from time to time in the video. The problem really was over-production or bad production. Anyone out there concur?

Also, anyone know what song Mick sings on the piano at Lenny Kravitz' house. Never heard it before, but I thought it was pretty good.

sandrew Winter - I thought the same thing. Even "Gun" in its unfinished state was tolerable. This is nothing new: the same thing has happened to songs on the last two Stones albums.

voodoopug also agree. I dont know what song he is singing, but i did like the piano only version of Dead FLowers in the bonus footage!

winter I agree. Does anyone know who's producing the new tracks?

Saint Sway I picked it up... I agree that the bonus footage is better. It said on the package that their were 5 live songs. I only saw GGME, Visions & Everybody Get High.... did I miss the other two??

anyone else notice this?

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
