penatonic fix Over the years RW has made many fine studio contributions on stones songs and his melodic playing was limited to playing slide or pedal steel guitar.I can only think of one solo that was melodic in nature and that was on Blinded By Rainbows.But on Don,t Stop and Keys to Your Love,RW plays a extended melodic solo why did he wait that long.Was it because he was sober,or Keith gave him the freedom to play a melodic extended solo.

Mel Belli It was probably 'cause Mick asked him to. In his marathon Rolling Stone interview in '95, he sounded like he regrets not having that kind of playing in the band anymore.
