penatonic fix Did Im Going Down become Soul Souvier because it has the
same opening riff and chord progression as Soul Souvier.

beer There was another song that had a very similar riff to Soul Survivor, i think maybe "It Must Be Hell" or some other song on Undercover.

corgi37 I'm going down sounds nothing like soul survivor. The chords are different, as far as i can recall. I'll have to check my handy song book. From loose, and abused memory (bear in mind i am still in my soul survivor phase and have played the song every day for the past 3 weeks, and i am going nuts!) isnt soul survivor D, B, G? Isnt I'm going down (God, i cant recall) but, isnt it Bb, Eb, G? The riff is totally different. Both are great songs though. I love the bongos in i'm going down. They just dont make songs like that any more. And sensational lyrics!

eg: "shoot your mother-in-law". And, my song of the year, "Its gonna be the death of meeee--aayy--aaarrhhgghhaa, its gonna be the death of me".

If i wasnt at work, i'd be playing soul survivor right now.
