I've got my guitar tuned a la Richards(GDGBD)and I do enjoy the way the thing sounds now and was wondering if any of you knew of a website where I can see pictured or drawn chord fingerings for this tuning,I cant read music so that's what I would need.Or a reference to a book with the fingerings and whatever.Thanks. |

go to www.ultimate-guitar.com
Also, his sound is very easy to make. For SMU, for example, all you do is barr the 5th fret and strike the chord once, then you put your middle finger on the 2nd string at the sixth fret and your ring finger on the 4th string at the 7th fret and hit the chord twice. "all you need is a pick, 2 fingers and an asshole" |

i might suggest two books: for theory, pick up ralph denyer's "the guitar handbook". chords, scales, you name it, its got it. plus its peppered with all sorts of cool pictures and pays homage to all the guitar gods, from chuck berry to jimmy page.
for stones, pick up the tab book for "the london years". it'll help you to understand keith's open chords by just playing them. its so easy!
(i myself have always favored open E).

Do a search for guitar chord generator sites. I have seen a few that will show you 5 string open G fingerings. |
