Ten Thousand Motels LEE: DEPP SHOULD PLAY ME IN CRUE FILM

MOTLEY CRUE drummer TOMMY LEE is keen to enlist Hollywood superstar JOHNNY DEPP to play him in a new movie about the group.

Veteran hellraiser Lee is convinced Depp shares an uncanny likeness with him, and hopes he will be prepared to re-enact wild scenes of debauchery from his life - including the infamous sex tape between him and ex-wife PAMELA ANDERSON.

Lee says, "He would be my first choice to play me and that would be awesome. I love all his work and sometimes there are certain days when we look alike."

And the film, based on the band's autobiography THE DIRT, will be closely overseen by the GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS rockers to ensure an accurate representation.

Lee adds, "We've just got the script through and I haven't had a chance to read it. We haven't picked a director yet. The four of us will produce or co-produce to make sure everything is exact."

I don't understand what they can possibly be thinking. I mean I like the Crue and all that but I don't see the point.

glencar Really man! Although when I first heard about "Pirates of the Caribbean" I thought, "Why, God, why???" but it turned out to be quite good.

sj Oh.. poor Tommy.. didn't get enough attention as a kid. A bit love starved are we? Lacking some dopamine maybe, got the shakes a bit, ADD/ADHD even, consider yourself a bit of a rock God? Solution: need a new novelty.. a movie.. to brighten the spirit. Reference back to greatest contribution to our world.. shagging Pamela! I'm happy for ya mate!! Best of luck with the movie.

For porn I heard the Gladiator Platinum porn edition is the goods. Big budget blockbuster

flexy633 This is old news actually. From what I've heard - Ashton Kutcher is supposed to portray Lee in the movie.

Motley is my second favorite band. If they wanna make a movie, they're going to do it. And yes, there is a market for it. Crue has their own set of fans just like the Stones do!

I really wanted to hate Johnny Depp when he started...all I knew was he was a pretty boy from 21 Jump Street. Then I saw Ed Wood...

...and I had to re-evaluate EVERYTHING. Ed is a hero (of sorts) of mine and Johnny did a GREAT job portraying him..

By the time he played two of my biggest heroes - Keith (sort of) in Pirates of the C, and Dr. Hunter S. Thompson in the brilliant and under-rated Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, I was completely hooked.

I won't go so far as to say he's the finest American actor working today, but he may well be. Why the hell would he even consider acting in a straight-to-video grade-Z vanity piece about the stupidest member of one of the world's worst bands? Just saying that in the press is embarrassing - Tommy's totally delusional. I guess you can't snort crank for 20 years straight without some repercussions.

If Johnny Depp plays Tommy Lee in a Motley Crue movie, I will never watch one of his films again!!! (I feel pretty safe in saying that. It definitely ain't gonna happen.)

Ashton whatsisface is more like it. Talentless to begin with and past his prime to boot, just like the subject.

" I won't go so far as to say he's the finest American actor working today, but he may well be. "

" Finding Neverland " was a GREAT movie and probably should have won the Oscar .

... Then again , Million Dollar Baby made your young Joey cry like baby .
