Ten Thousand Motels Gawd! All this dissing of drunks lately is bringing me down. I kinda like drunks. In fact some of my best friends are drunks. Some of the world's greatest artists were drunks.

Knock 'em back....down the hatch...

A man on the streets in Cleveland once asked me if I knew where Al Capone was as he recognized my White Sox Hat and figured I was from Chicago and then assumed by default that I had risen to the top of organized crime.

I dunno. So he's a drunk, as everyone knows he was a heroin addict before that. I just wonder if the fans, when they bitch about the booze, really care about him personally or if they care more about the show and the ticket prices. Not that they shouldn't insist on a good show for the price of the tickets, but after all these years it's not like they don't know what they're dealing with.

Martha Where's David Hasselhof's (crap I can't spell his last name) drunk vid? I loved the exploding sandwich part.

However drunks that are mean or puke on me are not on my friend list. Not anymore.

Amen Moteskunk. That may be the smartest thing you ever said. Keep in mind you are posting on a board where Jerry Falwell gets a 3 page RIP/farewell thread, and the constant drunk bashing begins to make sense.

MrPleasant Drinking is fine. But if you do it everyday, you kind of get these really cool nightmares after a while.

My last nightmare was about this film which was totally violent. It was violent in the most horrid way, against innocent people. I was supposed to watch it with my mother, in the dream, but she felt alseep; later on, she awoke and she said to me "what a horrible movie, what kind of rating does it have". The movie was supposed to be watched by people "over 35 years old".

Now, I'm 31, so, I thought that it was OK to watch the film. Since it was fictional.

The dream ended with me reading a review about the film; about how useless was to make a film that would be too violent, because really violent people weren't too sensational about their violence; they commited brutal acts because it was natural for them - like cooking breakfast or going to the bathroom. How smart is that?

Of course, I woke up and now I'm dumb again.

Ten Thousand Motels I tried to find a YouTube clip of Grace Slick's drunken meltdown in Germany but couldn't. Does it exist?
