Nasty Habits What is up with that Peter Scheiler guy? Anybody know his story?

1st June 2004 05:40 PM
Nasty Habits True students of "Sympathy" are also directed to "Mr. Kicks" by Oscar Brown Jr. Written in 1962, it's told from the point of view of the devil and opens with the line "Permit me to introduce myself, my name is Mr. Kicks."

F505 There is even a Dutch version (in Dutch) of Sympathy: 'Voor den duvel' by comedian Freek de Jonge.
3rd June 2004 07:03 AM
Corto the cover of SFTD by Louis Bertignac and Paul Personne is great! They are really GREAT guitarist... but unfortunatly, they both can't sing in english (or with this horrible french accent)
3rd June 2004 07:18 AM
F505 It's the same with Bill who sings with that horrible English accent Oui,oui je suis un rockstar....
3rd June 2004 06:28 PM
caro Belle and Sebastian?! Have you heard that version, Jacques? And if so, do you like it?

Bryan Ferry definitely covered "Sympathy" on one of his early solo albums, not Roxy Music as far as I know.

Bon Jovi covered it? You're kiddin me. Christ, I bet THAT sounded authentic and frightening and summoned up a few demons from the depths of hell..

I got it in mp3, it maybe a nice people release (they try to be the Rolling Stones), but sound is very bad. like "Casserole"

To Gazza
I got the release. Bon Jovi's job.... You feel asleep somewhere in a part of soft hells.
