Good choices!

These days I'm particulary impressed with Keith's playing at Paris 76.
Solos on Starfucker and Ain't Too Proud Too Beg are top notch!

Yyteri Beach "on the questions and answers page on Keith's website he said that he played it." (about Sympathy's solo)

Good. That Eric Clapton thing was then just a bad rumour. I've always thought it sounds like Keith but wasn't sure. Infact it's way too beautiful solo that Eric could have played it ;-)

My vote goes then to Sympathy For The Devil's studio solo (but there are still many many great solos)...

Nice Choices. I will not argue with those. SFTD speaks for itself really. Kinda a no-brainer. SCB is an under exposed lick that don't quit. Great Stuff.

Actually,

It's only Rock n Roll may be up there with Sympathy. Great Solo there as well. A classic really.

Totally agree, the solo on IORR is pure Keith. It's brilliant - and I'm still pissed they cut it on 40licks. How could Mick and Keith accept that ?!

swapwoodfortaylor Tough question this one!! I'll have to ignore the Richards / Jones era as to me that is too wonderful for words! So looking beyond then...for me the greatest guitar work (not nessarily lead) is the 2 guitars on Brussels Affair T2 Gimme Shelter.

Angry Ham He does nice leads on It's Only Rock and Roll!
