Honky Tonk Man Is everyone else?

I mean, this is the first Stones release since ive been a fan, its not just the prospect of hearing new songs for the first time, but im looking forward to the packaging and just whats going to be on it. I think what Gazza posted on an earlier thread about it been a combined package of "Hot Rocks" and "Jump Back" with new songs and "Come On" thrown in for historical reasons is correct. Though the latter part is why i think that songs going to be on the cd

Apart from thinking about the tour ive also been trying lead my old man away from the 63-66 era Stones for a moment. Put "Sticky Fingers" on in the car and he seemed to dig it. Think "cyhmk" was a bit much though.

Nah, if its not "Do You Wanna Hear Some Boogie That Im Gonna Play, Irs Just An Old Piano...." hes not totoally satisfied. Ho hum, not that the early Stones arent great of course

Cardinal Ximinez Well, I'm with you Alex. I just LOVE walking into my fave local record store and buying a new Stones release! I don't care if I already have all the songs or not. I wanna hear how well the remastering went....I wanna hear the 4 new tunes....I wanna buy the new Stones product!

If that makes me a syncophant...then I'm guilty and proud of it.

stonedinaustralia honky t man i hope your right - i hope it is an album with new hits!!

i.e. stuff that will more than hold its own with the company it will keep...

and i especially hope it is a truly combined creative effort and not M & K doing their respective "things" with Charlie and whomever else they choose to be involved...

back to basics i say and hopefully if they haven't recorded yet and the tour begins in september then hopefully they won't have time to waste and will just get on and do it with minimal to no fucking around

and swapchuckleavallforsomebody(anybody)

finally and after all i need something that tells me that they really mean it.

Lazy Bones I appreciate a new release as much as the next person. Gives the wallet some pre-tour excercise. Gotta warm up that plastic!

Vacendak Would be quite excellent if at least one of the new tunes was a pure Stone blues...

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
