Now and then I keep track of Savefiles uploads... seek adn you shall find but wtf I found a just uploaded recording of a 1969 rehearsal of Stray Cat Blues... NEVER heard (of) this before...!?! Anyone here knows this recording? Would love to know if there's more of this session. Good sound, but band only, no Mick (well, Taylor in great form)
Find it here: http://www.savefiles.net/d/8o6m6yfzn6j6e.html

Listened to it for 20 sec, that's neither Keith, Taylor, Bill or Charlie....at all

What IS it then? Listened to it a couple of times more - pretty strange, the version is very close to the Ya-Ya's one, but I agree something doesn't fit... the instrument sounds, the timing of Keith's part... Any idea? |

How could you even for a second think this is Stones? What is that ridiculous loud droning thing anyway? 80's type snare sound, and the "Keith" guitar sounds like played by a metronome. |

It is some people playing Stray Cat Blues...light years apart from Stones way of doing it.
It IS possible for other people to play songs written by someone else.. |
