Flashpoint Could anybody tell me how sounded Heartbreaker?
I hope they did it better than 94 version......
06-05-03 10:41 AM
jb 94 was brutal.....too fucking slow ...really misses the wicked solos of the great MT.......
06-05-03 10:51 AM
T&A totally agree with comment on the 94 version. Actually, Woody handled the wah-wah solo just fine, i thot, but KR was not driving the song's riff properly. Let's hope it's an improved version this go-round.
06-05-03 10:57 AM
jb The versions on Brussels Affair and Europe 73 actually exceed the studio version.....Billy P's presense on those really sounded good...
06-05-03 11:03 AM
T&A true, JB, but, MT's contributions to the live versions are relatively minor - and again I thot Woody replicated the solo fairly adequately in 94
06-05-03 11:22 AM
jb I thought the LA Friday version from 75 was very strong....

T&A well - they just posted a brief clip of last night's Heartbreaker on rs.com - not impressive - horn dominated, KR barely audible....

Joey " well - they just posted a brief clip of last night's Heartbreaker on rs.com - not impressive - horn dominated, KR barely audible.... "

Wouldn't it be great if Mick Taylor came out onstage and guested on that track ?
