You need teaching you're a girl
there are things in this world
that need teaching with discretion, my profession

Didn't see you were so young
I could almost be your son
please turn in my direction, no objection

Prodigal Son Well, in truth it was when I was recording a Neil Young compilation I heard the awesome "Ambulance Blues." But for Stones purposes, I caught "Mixed Emotions," "Eileen," and "Rock and a Hard Place" all on one of my dad's old tapes. Now, I wanna buy Steels Wheels and Take it So Hard! Damn, I like "Mixed Emotions." (Then I'll have all their original studio albums-plus a few live ones-, well except I taped stuff from Bridges and Undercover and I don't think I want Dirty Work). Everything on CD except
Cassette: Flowers, Get Yer Ya-Yas, Goat's Head Soup, and Voodoo Lounge
vinyl: Hot Rocks 1, Emotional Rescue, Some Girls, Still Life.
Mmm, I'm in a Neil Young-Stones mood these days. I'd kill to write killer songs like that. I'm also in a serious writer's envy period.
"You're not the only one/With mixed emotions/You're not the only ship/Adrift on this ocean."
