ah....SSS..such memories of a great trip
hey man, whatever happened that "mockumentary" movie of your friend's band that I did the 'cameo' interview for in your driveway?

I'd have thought being the home of Sir Donald Bradman, the greatest cricketer ever to draw breath, would be a bigger claim to fame - no?

when was that riot? the 1973 shows? Has there been none since? Christ, guys we're slipping. What about The Hague 1976..wasnt there one there?

it's probably what mick remembers it most for - i think he even had an audience with "the Don" in '95 when they were here

also in 95 the stones stayed at the local Hyatt - mick had the penthouse suite on the top floor which overlooks (and is virtually adjacent to) the Adelaide Oval universally considered to be the most beautiful cricket ground in the world

what happened at The Hauge '76 show??

corgi37 Joey is a genius to elevate me to legend status, Stonedinaustralia, but it is your fore sight and wisdom, that promotes his genius.

Oh, Adelaide is ok. When your flying over it, on your way to Perth. Seriously, the water there is just the pits. Not like our Melbourne water, which truly is Adam's nectar. Plus, arent we currently the world most liveable city? I mean, just ask all the crims getting blown away. Should hit 30 dead by the end of the month. Thats a wonderful amount of colorful and exciting funerals to attend. Never a dull moment. Only matched by watching the Asian "floaters" gliding out into the bay from the Yarra River. Nearly always from the vicinity of the casino. They should hold "dead Asian gamblers corpse" water races. Would go down a treat!

thanks corgi as well as being a great man you are also very kind

yeah adelaide tap water is the pits - no one here drinks it

it's been interesting watching melbourne's gangland war unfold - makes you wonder when and how it will all end esp. now as the coppers and lawyers are being accused of corruption in connection with the whole thing

also i note you missed a previous post of mine when i asked you who your AFL team was but have since noted you are a Saints man - as my team (the crows) are essentially doomed this season you will be pleased to know i am hopping on the saints bandwagon
