Its weird, I've been listening to them for decades now, but only a few years ago did I clue into how vaguely misogynist most of their songs were. Not outright stuff, more smarmy BS stuff about how women just don't understand that a man has gotta be a man. The only reason it matters is because they had an incredible ability to make their songs sound like soaring love ballads even when they weren't - "Sail On" being a good example.

But in "Lady" they abandoned that approach and its as fine as that genre gets. At least in IMHMFGDO,B. And thats why I sent it your ways.....
