Honky Tonk Man PM for you too
June 1st, 2005 12:48 PM
Factory Girl I think that Babyshambles sound is rawer than the Libertines. I also thought that B/S have a "junkie" sound-hollow, burned-out, desperate. In that sense, B/S sound is similar to Alice In Chains. For that reason, I tend to get into AIC when I'm REALLY F/UP.

However, I so so love it!! I shall listen again tonight!!!

Thank you, baby!!!

Honky Tonk Man I'm glad your digging Babyshambles. I'm looking forward to hearing the new album and I really do agree with you about the raw sound. Pete Doherty has said that they have been listening to the Stooges a lot.

I don't suppose you get a lot of Doherty news in the US, but he's a tabloid darling over here these days.

He seems to be doing a Keith at the moment. Since ditching the brown, he's hit the bottle. He's constantly sozzled.
