luxury1 It is one of my all-time favorite Jagger bleeding vocals. I could listen to that song over and over. I never tire of it. Although, I have never heard Wonder's version!

Wonder's version? That's not a version is the original release. The song was co-written by Stevie Wonder and the Stones version is a cover

Mr. D I've heard that the Stones recorded "I Don't Know Why" the night that Brian Jones died. Is this true, or just another fan rumour started?

I Don't know why was recorded June 30 1969 at Olympic sound studios London. Brian died July 3.
First version of I Don't know why is on bootlegs The Trident mixes and A Beggars opera.
Second remixed version (one minute longer) is on Metamorphosis ( to pick one)
This is from Hoffman "Das weissbuch" and Dalton "First 20 years"
