BillyBoll It'll be nice to hear from Charlie but Steve Wright, oh no!

Radio 2 is a good station now that plays loads of the Stones and other good music, but Steve Wright is a pain in the arse.

Still, I'm on the road tomorrow so will have a chance to listen.

But in my defence the show is normally hosted by Steve Wright, but he is on holiday, so Mathew Wright is doing it! Not sure who he is. But what the hell, its Charlie.....

Gazza Matthew Wright is the dickhead who used to edit the "Bizarre" showbiz page in the "Sun" until a couple of years ago.

Billy - he also presents a show on Channel 5 called "The Wright Stuff", I think. He was the guy who "accidentally on purpose" outed John Leslie as the guy who supposedly raped Ulrika Jonsson.

Gazza LOL...I was actually gonna add "not the porn star from the 70's" after his name but then I figured..nobody will know who I'm on about.

John Leslie is a TV presenter in the UK who's got himself in a bit of hot water in the tabloid press of late thanks to a fondness for rough, kinky sex and cocaine. Ulrika mentioned in her autobiography how she was raped by a fellow celebrity who she declined to name. Amidst a lot of tabloid speculation, Wright let it slip on live TV that it was Leslie. Even though Ulrika wouldnt confirm or deny it, he lost his job and ended up with his reputation blackened by the press as lot of other women came out of the woodwork to tell similar stories. He ended up clearing his name totally in a lengthy court case but his TV career was in tatters. The only good thing about it was that his then girlfriend, the wonderfully named Abi Titmuss, emerged as a celebrity out of it and has become every red blooded male's new fantasy woman.

Ulrika has a reputation as a babe Ok, but cant say shes really done much for me. Mind you, the England football manager had a fling with her 2 years ago,so he's maybe a better judge...lol

riccardo I listened from about 20 minutes after show started,no mention of Charlie,unless he came exactly at the beginning he wasn't on after.Weird.

corgi37 Hey Gazza, i know of Abi Titmuss (incredible name, eh?). She's appeared a few times in magazines over here. Why, just this week, there is a upskirt photo of her in our "PEOPLE" magazine. Our People is nothing like the U.S. version. Our one has wall-wall nudity. Miss Titmuss is mighty fine.

So, whats the verdict? Did Charlie appear on this show or what?

riccardo You know what's funny,as I got it from the tv(sat)there is an on screen display that mentions the Radio statio(BBC R.2)and current programme with Sinopsis.It was saying Matthew Wright and as guests Charlie Watts!
Either he didn't show up or maybe they broadcasted the wrong programme (I have a feeling it was pre-recorded).They broadcasted Greg Lake interview...
But I'll listen again this afternoon.
