Deep Purple stars on Jeff Beck tribute album

Guitarists from Deep Purple and the Allman Brothers Band have laid down tracks for an upcoming Jeff Beck tribute album. It's called Freeway Jam - To Beck And Back, and it features Warren Haynes doing "The Pump," while Steve Morse tackles "Freeway Jam." Eric Johnson covers "Beck's Bolero," while the guest list also includes jazz guitarists John Scofield, Adam Rogers, Jeff Richman, and Mike Stern, jazz-rock player Greg Howe, and bluesmen Chris Duarte and Walter Trout. Freeway Jam - To Beck And Back is due July 17th.
