Topic: Stones Press Conference DVD B&P Return to archive
May 26th, 2005 08:32 AM
MRD8 his is a DVD of a privately made handheld video taken
at the Rolling Stones May 2005 press conference at
the Julliard school in New York City. The taper was
in the press pit and used his own private (handheld)
equipment to capture the Stones' complete musical
performance and then their complete Q&A session. He
was obviously also trying to work for the people who
flew him there, so there are a few missing bits in the
first song ("Start Me Up") but the parts missing
last at the most 30 seconds. Again, this is all
from private handheld equipment, so there is some
mild shaking and some zooming.

The DVD is in two chapters. No menus. It lasts about
25 minutes total.

First chapter is the live performance of three songs
("Start Me Up", "Oh No Not You Again", and "Brown Sugar").
When originally webcast, no one got to see more than a
minute each of these songs. This portion lasts about
13 minutes. The remainder is the complete Stones'
portion of the press conference (No Michael Cohl).
Send three blank DVD+R's and a postage paid bubble mailer...email me at [email protected] for details and artwork.
