Topic: 2nd Manchester show. Return to archive

Travellin Man This could be old news as it was dated 12th May, but did anyone receive a letter from Ticketmaster today explaining that the MEN Arena show will start at 7:00 and not 7:30. The letter actually states "on 5th and 7th September," does this mean that the second show is a goer? I'd be quite surprised if it was as I thought that ticket sales for Manchester were quite sluggish (the 5th still hasn't sold out). Maybe they'd be better off playing a club show at the Apollo instead of a second arena date - thay could even give me free tickets for coming up with the idea.

DrGlimmer I didn't receive a letter but I got an e-mail from the box office manager today saying a second show was unlikely. I hope he's wrong. The Stereophonics have just added a second show, though, their first night tickets are still available.

Check the M.E.N. website as they have a page saying the show sold out in hours.

Wouldn't it have been something to have had a three show deal in Manchester? So many venues and clubs.
