Has anybody received info from rollingstones.com about their seat locations? There is a lady on ebay who is selling access to the Tower for 1100 bucks. She says she got a letter stating where her seat is on row 20 center.
Is she full of it or what? |

Maybe - maybe not.
The theater dates were all will-call -- you don't get the tickets in the mail -- you get a letter saying you have tickets with your name on them at the box office. The night of the show, you have to present the letter, ID, and the credit card you used to purchase the tix -- then you get them. If she is legit, she is offering her second seat to someone.
Anyone even remotely considering this should demand a scanned version of the letter or some other verification of the letter. Obviously, even that can be forged -- but it would at least give you some idea of authenticity.
Equally obvious -- don't send any money -- they could be collecting $$ from any number of people. However, they also bear the risk that you will not show up and pay for the seat (although that is a pretty small risk since there will be loads of people at those club shows with big bucks in their hands looking for the person with the extra ticket.

I have "seats at the Twoer and have yet to receive the "letter" and I live 30 miles away from the venue. I doubt she has the letter already. |
