Really sorry to post this here, but the case is this:
I'm going to NYC in July (I live in Sweden), and I will bring some hundred dollars to spend on other things than guitar stuff. Where on Manhattan can I find a store that sells rather cheap, "hippie-style" clothes, bell bottom jeans, batik-clothes etc. Well, 60's stuff in general...
Again, sorry to post this here, but I figured, many of you live in NYC and probably are old-hippies or something like that. Help me out please!

Go to Greenwich Village you'll find some great stores there
Visit Washington Square, in addition to be a drugstore (not that kind LOL) there are also some stores. Beiong there check out the Bottom Line schedule, you will be able to attend a couple of great gigs overthere. |

Thanks,
What is the Bottom line? Some sort of club?
I'm 17 so there's a chance they won't let me in...
However, I am interested in seeing some rock-bands when I'm there. Is the legendary Cafe Wha worth a visit? |

While you are in NYC , please check out Faces and Names Lounge on 54th Street between 6th and 7th Streets . Inside the bar there are many paintings , including an EXTREMELY B2B Era Portrait of the Boys .
Give my best to Joey's favorite , bartender Jude . She can make an "Absolute and Tonic" that will knock your socks off .
Yes !!!!!

Hey Staffan
If you're serious about fashion...wait until Earls Court 2003. Hit the arches under Embankment with some awful european lager and you should be able to trade for some freshly pissed-in flairs. |
