Ten Thousand Motels JACKSON SELLS NEVERLAND

Troubled singer MICHAEL JACKSON has sold his Neverland Ranch for $37 million (GBP19.5 million) to pay off his ever-increasing legal costs, writes British newspaper NEWS OF THE WORLD.

The THRILLER star will reportedly hand over the keys to the 2,700 acre estate to an anonymous buyer on 13 July (05), the date he anticipates his child molestation trial will end.

Jackson, who originally paid $3.7 million (GBP1.95 million) for the sprawling ranch outside Santa Barbara, California in 1988, is currently on trial accused of abusing GAVIN ARVIZO there.

An insider tells the publication, "Michael has always said that after the sheriffs raided his bedroom he felt his personal space had been invaded and tainted, and that he would never return there."

Jackson, 46, is accused of molesting 13-year-old Arvizo in 2003, plying him with wine and conspiring to hold the boy's family captive. The star denies all the charges.
