I had the opportunity to see Keith twice this week ...
Waddy is sweating because he had been playing already when Keith came out .... It was over 100 in LA on that day

Welcome to the Terry Reid fansite. Although independently produced the site exists with Terry's knowledge and blessing.
You may well have come searching for Terry with the expectation that he was retired, lost in space or even entertaining the angels . Well you'd be wrong , Terry is alive and well, living in Los Angeles, playing regularly at a popular LA club ( see below ) and most recently Terry made a triumphant return to the UK, appearing at Womad 2002 a major UK festival.
If you've never heard of Terry Reid , go ask some old guy with a beard and a faraway look in his eyes , whisper � Superlungs� , � Silver White Light � , �May Fly� ,�Rich Kid Blues � watch him get up and start shaking parts that haven�t been shaken ( for very good reasons ) for a long time.He tends to have that lasting effect on those who have heard the voice.
If thats too daunting a prospect follow the links and learn a little more , you will not be disappointed.
Better still open that dusty wallet and go and buy some of his music.
Most prominent in the late 60's early 70's Terry has had a roller coaster of a career with numerous doses of incredible bad luck .All well documented on the bio page.
Whatever the past held, this site's main aim is to celebrate and promote the man , so read the history and be as happy as I am that he's done what he's done and still has more to give.
For sure Terry is pleased to know that people still remember him and incredibly touched at the rapturous things fans say about him. If for no other reason the website has served its purpose in allowing fans a way of expressing their appreciation. Although not exactly a frequent surfer Terry and or his close friends do check out the site and if I think Terry hasn't looked for a while I collate the guestbook entries and mail them to him.
So don't be shy sign the book and tell Terry what you think,one way or another it will be brought to his personal attention.If you leave an e.mail address with your guestbook entry you'll get added to the newslist and will receive irregular updates news etc. |

As for the Captain & Tennille, they now perform live "only on very special occasions," preferring the quiet life at home in northern Nevada.
Still happily married, love has kept them together, and their music remains a lasting legacy of beautifully crafted pop gold.
