Topic: eBay tickets reliable? Return to archive
05-19-02 02:00 PM
recordal Hey - I see reasonable deals on eBay for various Stones shows. Anyone know about bogus, counterfiet tickets?

Martini I too wonder about the reliability of Ebay (e.g., it seems a little fishy that there are so many "General Admission" floor tickets being sold for the SF shows by people with little feedback).

On the other hand, it seems the outrageous ticket prices the Stones are charging this time around will make it much harder for people to resell them for more than face value,
since most people probably cringe at paying the $350 face value. Just a guess, though.

voodoopug Ebay tix are usually pretty reasonable, but I would advise that you pay with a credit card so that you could dispute the charges if tickets are false, also find a local ebayer and complete the transaction face to face
